Celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at Windsor Castle
With this year being the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, people looking for things to do in London are likely to seek out some royal attractions, and what better one to visit than Windsor Castle - Her Majesty's official residence?
Staff at the ancient castle are pulling out all the stops for the momentous occasion, with a special exhibition being held from February 4th until October 28th, The Queen: Sixty Photographs for Sixty Years.
Sixty photographs of the monarch will go on show, including the work of leading press photographers of the past six decades.
It will showcase both public and private moments enjoyed by the Queen, with images of official occasions sitting alongside snaps from relaxed family gatherings.
Visitors to Windsor Castle, which is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world at almost 1,000 years old, will also have the chance to visit the magnificent state apartments which contain treasures from the Royal Collection.
